Brand new member here. Thanks in advance for any help. Been lurking around for a year or two, great site.

Been searching for a pre-owned '09 G37 for almost 4 months and can't find what I want. Thinking about loosening my requirements and/or dropping down to an '08 or now that I see one of the members can possibly get VPP numbers going for a new 2009 or 2010. My perfect vehicle would be the '09 G37 in Moonlight White w/light interior, auto, premium pkg, sport pkg and nav pkg.

So, what are the differences between the '08 and '09?

I know the obvious are 7 speed AT, +2 mpg in the '09. Is there anything else related to the options?

Thanks for any info-vin

Well the sedan was still a G35 in 2008...so the 4-door will have significant changes. I think the coupe had a few cosmetic changes...but not much.

Sorry guys. It's a coupe journey that I'm in search of. I read that the '09 shifts a little bit more smoothly due to the additional two gears. Am I being too picky wanting an '09 rather than a '08?

Thanks for checking out my post.

Welcome!

Drive both if you can and see what you prefer!

Easiest way to tell my friend.

You can always consider a Grounding kit if you go with the 08 which has been known to smooth out the shifts.
