I was at the dealer today and noticed that the 2008 Zs have a 18/25 mpg gallon rating vs the 20/27 mpg rating of the 2007s. Anybody know if there are any differences between the 2008 and 2007? they both have the VQ35HR with 306hp.

do you really care?.... They are only estimated minimums, most everyone gets better mileage than the posted rating....

^ if you don't have any useful inputs why do you post?

I am asking because I am interested to find out if there are any differences, thank you.

Yeah i asked about that when i bought my 08. Apparently nissan changed the way they calculate fuel mileage. In the past they would run the car in sunny 70 degree weather with no air conditioning at 55 mph. Now they run the car in all weater conditions with the air blasting at different speeds. Its supposed to be a more accurate estimation. But they say you will actually get better than what is on the sticker if you drive it right.
