Has anyone tried using a scanning tool to monitor real time sensor data? I get the following result when I am monitoring the upstream O2 sensor: In "closed loop" mode I show a steady 0.42 to 0.45 volts at 55 mph and at idle. With throttle closed and engine braking, the engine management system goes "open loop" and O2 reads 1.02 volts. On all of the OB2 post 1997 vehicles that I have checked, the O2 cycled between 0.2 and 0.8 volts when in "closed loop". I am reluctant to have the Nissan service techs tamper with my Versa because I am getting 38-39 mpg on highway trips. Is my steady middle of the range O2 voltage normal? Note: I am taking my readings from the diagnostic connector under the steering wheel.

the o2 sensor that you speak of is actually an A/f sensor, the voltage should around 1.45v-1.55v
