2007 Versa CVT Right Front Axle support Bearing

Has anyone had a 2007-2011 Versa Hatchback with CVT experience a right front axle support bearing (sometimes referred to as a carrier bearing) fail and need to be replaced? If so, can the bearing itself be ordered and replaced on the axle, or must a the complete bearing support bracket be ordered and replaced? It is my understanding that if a new axle were ordered, it would not include a new center support bearing, am I correct on that?
