2007 Sentra's hit the lot today

we got 2 of the new sentra's in today a base model and a sl model. had a chance to drive them and I am undecided if I like the changes to the motor. Yes the engine size is larger now a 2.0 up from a 1.8, but it still feels really sluggish starting off.

The CVT transmission is kind of strange in that it is really loud when you accelerate full speed. Overall performance after you hit about 40 mph is not bad, highway driving is smooth and reletiveley easy to handle.

The biggest changes is the interior space provided by the body style change. I own a 06' sentra and the back seats are extremely small, 07' definately remedies that problem. It resembles the Versa in the seating configuration. Available power features are nice as well Intelligent Key, Bluetooth, Rockford sound, etc.. The stow away trunk space is nice but not a big feature. I really liked the fold flat back seats, they fold completely flat which helps alot in hauling cargo and such.

Overall the changes are good didn't mean to go too long with this but felt it was my duty to give an accurate report.

I think they're hideous . Perhaps if they come out w/ a SE-R version it'll be better. I don't know though.
