I recently bought an 07 Sentra. I had to replace two tires soon after and asked the tire shop to check the alignment. It had a darty feal to it like the toe-in was out. I expected it to be the front. They said, and showed me the printout showing, that the rear was toed out .4 on each side. The specs show a max of .2 per side. They advised that there was no shim kit for the '07 and nothing they could do. I asked a service writer at my local dealership and he said Nissan didn't make a shim kit to align the rear. I seem to recall seeing a mod post a Nissan Technical bullitan number on this problem but haven't been able to find it so I can confront the dealership with it. The car has 20,000 miles on it so they aren't interested in talking to me about it right now. Any help on the bullatin would be greatly appreciated.

I've only seen the Bulletin for 2003 350Z's : NTB04-043which covers only front alignment. That wont help you at the dealership I guess.

You have probably read the Nov. 6 thread on this board (OP wilchappell) which concludes that an aftermarket shim is available for the Sentra rear spindle. This addresses the rear toe-in, but a 4-wheel alignment by a quality shop is needed to finish the job.

Interestingly, have recently traded in the Bridgestone O.E.'s on our 07 SL (for Nokian WRG2s), after only 7K miles, and it was the fronts showing slight inside edge wear. The rears looked evenly worn. (No rotation ever done.) So not sure if it is a universal problem.
