I've been trying to find OEM replacement wipers for my 2007 G35X. They are a one-piece aerodynamically designed blade. I can't seem to find them on the aftermarket web sites> Are they only available at the dealer? I hate paying inflated dealer prices. Anyone else found these wiper blades? The 07's are not the same as were on my other G's. Has anyone else had good results with a replacement? I tried the Anco winter blades and not happy as they lift at highway speeds so I put the old originals back on. Thanks everyone, as usual

You can replace the entire blade assembly and whatnot.

Thats what I had to do cause I was not about to pay Infiniti $100 for windsheild wiper blades.

Get the Bosch micro edge I think or tripple edge something like that.

They are about $20 each side. 10 seconds to change them

You're both crazy. The Dealer charges $33-$40 for a new set of blades. Part Numbers 28890-JK600 and 28890-JK610. Or, if you feel like saving money, and it seems you do... buy just the wiper refills. They slide in like 3 year old fingers into a snotty nostril. Part Numbers 28895-CB08C and 28895-JK61A. The refills are just $15.

On my 06, the Infiniti service advisor clued me into purchasing the wiper inserts at the parts department and he then showed me how easy it was to remove the old ones and insert the new ones. I think they were around $3.50 each last year?

Take the whole wiper blade off and bring it in to Infiniti parts to see if you can just replace the rubber inserts?

I believe the driver and passenger side may be different sizes?

yes but the factory blades are aerodynamically contoured to maximize blade downforce at highway speeds to prevent chatter and lift between the surface of a steep sweptback windshield and the blade itself.

Many thanks for your help. You're lucky to have a good dealer. All mine tries to do is find new sticks to put where the sun don't shine.

there must not be a patent for the one piece blades as the anco version looks excatly like the bosh version and has the down force lip also... but cost half as much...

Perhaps its because of the state you live in?

Isn't everyone that lives in CT. loaded $$$$?

It quite often pays to be nice to the service people $$Most of them don't earn enough to afford what you are driving.

Telcoman - I've been to ALL sections of Joisey and I'll take CT anyday. and yes we're all loaded on Crown Royal thank you. My dealer doesn't let you near the service technicians you can only deal with the service writers who are vultures constantly trying to upsell you on something you don't need. Here's an example:two years ago when my wife's 2003 G came off of lease I wanted to buy it for cash as it only had 28,000 miles on it and I paid for 42,000 miles on the lease. I expected to go to the dealer, fork over my $14k, get new plates and drive off. But nay, nay! They would not handle the transfer unless I dropped the car off for at least half a day for a lease termination inspection. When I returned, they tried to charge me $100 for the used car inspection (which is illegal to do in CT after I called CT DMV) and they said the car needed over $2000 in work, which was pure bull crap. Then they tried to charge me the interest on my lease until they cashed my cashiers check and sent their check to Infiniti. Needless to say, I didn't pay any of these charges after many calls to Infiniti HQ and DMV. The dealer I used to go to when I lived in Rhode Island was great, but not the one in Hartford. As I said, you're lucky to have a good dealership!
