Hi everyone, I'm thinking to buy a QX56 for the family, I'm driving the QX4 now..

I saw one 2007 QX56 but it's RWD not 4x4. 50k miles, fully loaded. and asking or $24k.
is this a good price? anyone knows if the RWD has big difference from 4x4?
anyone driving one can tell me some thing about it?

Thanks

sounds like a pretty good price, but I would strongly suggest trying to find a 2008 or newer QX56 (or loaded Nissan Armada). A lot of significant changes were made in 2008.

In terms of RWD or 4WD, depends what you want, I am in Green Bay, WI.............I would not purchase a 2WD in a million years, but we have some nasty winters.

Yeah, I agree with Timmbo that never, ever would I buy a rear wheel drive vehicle in an area with snow (unless of course it's a summer only car). I have the QX56 4x4 and this came in very handy when I lived near Chicago. These trucks just plow through snow like nothing. I live in Los Angeles now and never use it, except for maybe a jaunt up to the mountains in the winter. Also, the price on that QX56 sounds good but I would agree again with Timmbo, opt for an 08' or newer version if possibe.

I like the 2008 and up also, the price will be around $35k for the similar optioned QX.
I shop around for the Armada also, but I don't see that much advantages if buying one. price almost the same. QX has more features.
and look at the JD power data from cars.com... the Armada only has around 2 stars out of 5.. but QX is close 5 after 2006..

I would not put much faith in the JD ratings. The 2008 Armada LE is basically identical to the 2008 QX56, minus intelligence cruise and Xenon lights. Back row is also heated on the QX56. Interior is identical. To me that would be your best buy.

A 2008 QX 56 selling for $35K is pretty good. I picked up a CPO with 35kmiles for $34K in Southern California.
