Hello all, it's been a while. I have been working on my wife's uncle's 07 Quest and I have finally exhausted all options and i figured I would ask the community.

First I get a call that the van died while driving, no real warning, once I get a look at it, the ECM is not communicating with the OBDII port and with some research, determine that the ECM could be faulty, I order a new/used ECM and tow the car to the dealer to have to keys reprogrammed. The dealer cleaned off some corrosion and replaced a battery terminal, checked chassis, and wire grounds and replaced the IGN and ECCS fuse. once the car started it had two blown coil packs. I took the car from the dealer, bought two coil packs and the car was running great, returned the car to my wife's uncle and considered my job done.

I get a call a week later that the car would not start after getting gas. I show up with my trailer and replace the ECCS & IGN fuse, car starts up and immediately blows the fuse again. I realize that another coil pack had failed, one I had just replaced. I started to do some more research and questions and decided it was a good time to change the spark plugs (intake manifold had to come off for this job) and replace all coil packs (cheap Amazon ones with good reviews, none of these have blown yet, the OEM and AutoZone ones have been failing) Since I put it all back together The car started and ran great, I took it for a spin and I shut off on me, I towed it home again, this time two more coil packs had failed. I have since checked continuity and isolation to all the coil pack wires, to the ECM, I have checked voltage regulation on the alternator with the car running, I have determined that only bank 2(front Cylinders 2,4,6) are blowing coil packs and I need some assistance on what to look at next as I am out of reasonable ideas. Thanks.

That really sounds like a bad ground somewhere. Do the coil packs have internal drivers, or is there an external one somewhere? If it's external, is there one for all 6 cylinders, or one for each bank?

Winner, it was a bad ground, but only temporary, the battery negative cable was damaged due to a bad engine mount, the engine was torquing under load, damaging the wire and causing the open condition, unfortunately I could not figure it out in time and we brought it to the dealer for the diagnosis. May save a few $$ and replace the engine mount ourselves.
