First of all no you didn't and 2nd of all you're right, it's all about HP. There aren't any other variables that determine acceleration and speed.naladude911 wrote:look up the HP differences, I have faith in the pathy. i beat a 97 integra doing 0-120. I was 7 car lengths ahead.
HP... and weight. Pathy probably has an extra 800 - 1000 lbs on the Grand Prix.Empty V wrote:

Woa, I have to disagree with you there Billy. There are many other factors, (and I think you probably know that.)Weight being the other big one.Plus things like transmission, engine power band, and where does it reach it's maximum horsepower, etc. Depends too on how long the race is. Eight of a mile, quarter mile, San Francisco to New York? (just kidding on that last one).Given the few facts we have, I'd bet on the Pontiac on this one.Cheers.Empty V wrote:

I was saying that sarcastically. So if we all use Nala's theory of speed my 47' boat with twin 330HP diesel engines will spank my 26' Semi V with a 1968 Chrysler 440 outputting 550HP. And this kid wants to go to engineering school?Buzzman wrote:Woa, I have to disagree with you there Billy.
