2007 Pathfinder transmission recall

Just bought a 2007 Pathfinder 130,000 miles but for some reason it would not start on the ignition key in the computer it says that there's a ground missing also transmission not shifting correctly is there a recall for the transmission for the 2007 model I know that there was a recall for the maxima transmission I was wondering if they have it for the Pathfinder. Can anybody help me with this

Google recalls by vehicle model and you should see a NHTSA site where recalls are listed. There was not a recall for the transmissions on those, altho there may have been some deals worked out between Nissan and their customers that had problems. At 130k tho, I am almost sure there will be no help from Nissan.

There is an open recall for Takata airbags ( that affects most manufacturers and millions of vehicles) so you can call the dealer and see about that.

You should check the transmission fluid and see if it is pinkish and a little foamy looking, indicating coolant in the fluid. New transmission fluid is red.

Meant to say when you call the dealer you may find there are other "voluntary recalls". So there may be some other issues the dealer will fix on Nissans dime.
