Wutup people. I own a 2007 2WD Pathfinder, which I love!!! this car is value for the money. looks really good inside and out..........but, theres a couple of things that really bug me!I have also noticed it on other Pathfinders

the rear seems to be lower than the front, it just doesnt look right. I traveled a long distance after I got this vehicle, from California, to North Carolina. I towed my 2001 civic with no problem! it handled very good. but it was sooo low from the back when i was towing. what also ticks me off is that I put things in the rear ( 40-70 pounds) it sits noticably low!! I filled up the back with stuff to take to storage and it was saggin from the back...wtf? does anyone know if they carry longer rear coil springs? not even that high, just a inch lift, to even out with the front.

also, the rear passanger has cup holders and AC vents towards them, i turn on the ac and put my hand back there to see if the air comes out, and you can barely feel it!! does this happen to you? please let me know

also if theres any tricks of the trade for the 07 pathfinder, please let me know

I bought an airlift rear suspension kit from truckperformance.com. It's also fairly cheap and easy to install. I run about 10 psi in them and it levels it out nicely. I just drilled holes in the bottom of the rear bumper to mount the schrader valves for easy access. The only pain with them is that you have to keep them lube'd with silicone about every tire rotation so you dont sound like you have a squeaky @ss suspension, plus it keeps your bags from wearing. As for your vent I had the same problem until I found that under the console (behind the shifter) the duct was not pushed all the way in where it joins the main housing. Could be an assembly issue. I can try to post some pics if you'd like .

as for the air blowing issue, there are seperate fans for the front and rear. check to see if the fan is working in the rear.

Well I took some pics today so I could show my a$$ to everyone. This I beleive is the cheapest way to fix the low rear on the 05+ Pathfinder (around $80).

To start you slide your air-lift bags between the coils.

Then you attach the air lines to the top of the bags.

Then drill some holes to mount the schrader valves and finish routing the air lines and zip tie them in place.

I run about 7-10 PSI in them, any higher pressure above that really doesn't affect the height as much as it does the ride stiffness and load capability. As you can tell from the following pics the ride height doesn't change much with higher pressures up to the max 30 psi.

Height 10 psi / tounge load cap. at level ride about 200 Lbs.

Height 20 psi / tounge load cap. at level ride about 400 Lbs.

Height 30 psi / max. tounge load cap. at level ride about 600 Lbs.

I hope this helps other Pathy owners with their low rears.
