2007 Pathfinder ac stops when idling kicks on when start driving

The AC on my wife's Pathfinder works when the vehicle is in motion,but goes warm when at a stop sign or idling. As soon as she starts moving it cools off. Heater does the same when idling not as warm, ok when moving. Someone suggested changing fan control amp. Any help would be appreciated before I tear into it.
