2007 Path OFFROAD - VDC off / Slip lights on dash wont turn off

I took the new pathfinder camping this weekend and on the way back into town I noticed the vdc off and slip lights were on ( near Payson) we stopped for lunch and I assumed the issue would reset itself---but did not. The lights are still on as of the ride into work this morning. If anyone has an easy fix so I dont have to look like a tool at the dealership please post here....
