Hello, I recently got my axle changed. Afterwards, my car have been shaking when it gets to high speeds. The mechanic said I new tires. Is this the really the problem?

I assume the mechanic who changed the axle has come to that conclusion that its the tires. It's possible, but its impossible to know for sure unless you have the them checked. Since checking tires and spin balancing is inexpensive ,I'd recommend having them checked by someone other than that mechanc, and go from there.

It happened immediately after axle replacement? You could have an out-of-balance axle.

Same damn thing happened on my prelude. It sucks because it isn't exactly an easy job to swap it out, and I doubt the parts store will want to warranty it.
