2007 Nissan Quest Wont Start

Hi .. need a little help/advice. My 2007 Nissan Quest (wife's car) was dead when she tried to start it while out shopping today. The battery checked out fine (just replaced it in August), and looks like the fuses are fine. Interior lights turn on, and headlights/brake lights turn on. When I try to turn the car over I get nothing.

A few years ago an after-market security system that was installed when we bought the car brand new caused some issues. It was apparently wired poorly and caused a short and blew one of the fuses under the hood (ignition). That security systems was re-wired/fixed a couple of years ago, and just recently I disconnected it. When I turn the key I get nothing .... (not even clicking). Was just odd that it happened all of a sudden. I only have 50K miles on the car. Just concerned that there is some serious electrical issues with the car and It's going to keep misbehaving. Any ideas what this could be? I checked the fusible link (k) and fuse number 12 .... both seemed to be fine. Tried one of those on-line just answer sites, and the mechanic was telling me the IPDM may have issues .... have no idea what that is or what to do with it. Please advise. Contemplating cutting my losses and going with something different.
