2007 Nissan Navigation Stopped Working

Our Navigation just stopped working. I cannot pull up the map, activate voice, etc. When I go into Settings, Navigation option is there, but I cannot select it, it is grayed out. Little bit of reading, looks like there might be a CD upgrade, is that true? Another part of this sympton, the digital clock no longer works. Appreciate any input or suggestions.
