Hello, I have a 2007 Nissan Murano SL with HID headlights. I am looking to convert these to Halogen, just due to cost and was wondering if this is even possible or worth it? I need to get near assemblies and work from there, I know the halogen assemblies are much more readily available, but didn't know if it is possible to convert. The left headlight blew 2 times now and I am thinking that it may be the ballast and I just don't have the money or time to really diagnose it. I have to replace the left headlight assembly because it is leaking so...

The halogen assemblies should be plug-and-play. The differences are all in the local wiring inside the headlight, the FSM shows the connectors and wire positions on the car harness being identical. They do sell 9007 dual-beam LED's these days (Sylvania, Auxbeam, and Kepler to name a few), so if you want to go LED instead of halogen, that should also be a plug-and-play conversion.
