On page 54 there is a small article about this.

Highlights:

-It's based on the G35(which most would suspect already) and powered by the VQ. -Lotus may have been hired to tune thehandling aspect of the car.-Cosworth may be building up the VQ. Possibly turbo(s). 450 bhp.-There is a picture in the article. It looks a little overstyled, bt personally, I'd expect it may be toned down a bit by the time it hits showrooms.

I wish I had a scanner. It looks G35ish, but perhaps more robust. The front fenders appear to have a flare effect like the RX-8. I can see a clean body coming out of this, but I don't see this exact version hitting the market. Especially on what appears to be some rather large 20 inch wheels.

I just thought of a way to get this on here...I took a picture of it with my camera phone.

It's on my FTP, but I'd appreciate it if someone can host it somewhere else. I think I have a badwidth limitation. It won;'t bother me much, but I'm sure if the pic becomes unaccessable, some others will not be able to see it. This may also start floating around the net too, so it may be exceeded sooner than I might imagine.

hmmm, it's kinda neat, but honestly it woulda been cool if it were still the 80's. Nissan designs lack in the aesthetics.

I'd whip it like a runaway slave so to speak. (I blame that comment on JDM as he said something outta place like that and I couldn't help but laugh, yeah, I'm not a PC person, but **** it, I wouldn't be fun if I was)

I have the issue. The specs sound impressive.. but it looks like butt. Why must all the good new cars have the over-the-top concept styling? No one likes cars that look like spaceships :(

As long as it is not over 40,000 I can afford it. I like the new look! Car styles are ever changing either you go with the flow or get left behind. Some people call my 350Z a spaceship but hey that is what happens when people start doing different things. Why doesn't your 240 look like the old HUGE boat like autos of the 70's and 60's cause times change so does style.

A VQ? Man, Nissan has lost their minds and sold thier souls. A Skyline should be a L6, plain and simple. I hate V engines.

I like some of the profile, but I think they will smooth it out by production time. The new Z looked like crap to me when they had that orange concept version out. They only made some small changes and it changed my opinion drastically.

As far as a Skyline having a I-6, it doesn't say anywhere that this is a Skyline. It appears to be called the Nissan GTR.

So what's your beef against V-6 motors?

looks like poo.

and i think any thing that is built that resembles that will look like poo as well.

it needs to be nostalgaic (is that a word?)

needs to resemble its predecessors. this doesn't come close to looking like a real skyline.

^ I agree.

But this is someone who thinks the R32 GT-R was the most gorgeous car ever built.

Should have carried that styling forward.

lol they took off the led turn signals and took the led off the side markers and move the rear turn signals down some and then they gave it dual exahust. WOW that was not that much to make the car that much better.

That pic is a PS, and not a "nissan" design. I'm sure the GT-R will looks a lot different then that.

But the specs sounds great. I've also heard its more then likely going to be under the Infiniti badge.

There have been a lot of designs

Still too smooth and curvy. I like the BNR32 because it has some pretty defined lines, none of this new era smooth crap that everyone seems to like to do to thier cars. Almost feels like they are marketing to women that way...

I disagree. The reddish one has some strange looking lights. I do like the fender area a bit better as it is less prnounced than the black one, but the black one just looks a bit sleeker. The reddish one looks reminds me of some kind of animated whale character. It also appears to be more Z-car-ish than the black one(shorter with sloped back end).

R32 GT-R=my dream car. (Well, my affordable dream car at least)

The black one doesn't look too bad actually, I'd drive it. And flog it up and down the roads.

I don't particularly life V-style engines...especially not after my experiences with my v-6. I-4 or I-6 any day.

I beleive its a photoshopped V35 skyline coupe.

Doesn't look agressive enough for me though
