I have a 2007 Altima. I go out this morning and hear a click noise coming from the battery area. My door won't unlock with out the pull out key itself and then it won't start. Interior lights won't come on and it seems the battery is dead. Anyway, I jump it and just get a loud clicking noise from what may be the stater, under the middle of the engine area? All of the lights work as it is connected to another battery, but again just a loud clicking noise, and the engine shows no attemp to turn over. Any ideas??

Thank you,

Jay

Bring it back to the dealership. Warranty work FTW

I would, to avoid any damage to the car that may happen if you jump it.

Your battery is out of juice. Charge it on a deep cycle charger, or hook it up to a buddys jumper cables, and let it charge for about 15 min, then try to start it. Should be fine. You most likely just left the lights on over night. Even though you may have enough juice to pump the lights, but not to crank the starter.
