2007 Nissan Altima with 6 Speed manual cup holder???

Hello everyone! I hope someone can help me with my current issue. Ever since I bought my car the cup holder refuses to stay closed, and then one day it got stuck with my phone in there, so I had to break the moving door to get it out. I have gone to many junk yards to try to find a replacement cup holder for my car, but because my car is a manual, the cup holder is not the same as the one they put in an automatic. It looks like the cup holder from the 2006 Altima is inside my car because mine opens towards the front passenger instead of the normal 2007 cup holder that opens to the rear of the car. So my question is could I just take the cup holder from the 2006 Altima and put it in my 2007? They look identical.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will work. The 2007 is a 4th generation while yours is a 3rd generation model. I would think any from a manual 2002–2006 would fit. Have you checked eBay?
