Heck Yeah! We rocked their socks, and their britches, and now it's time for us to complain about their setup and rattle their cages.

As of Friday, we were 1 behind. As of Sunday, we were still behind and in 2nd place. The problem we had was that someone at the on-site registration office told a lot of our "onsite" registrants that putting down a club affiliation did not count towards club participation. This spread quickly so we had a lot of Saturday/Sunday guys register onsite who didn't bother putting down NICO as their club and their participation was not counted towards the numbers as they should have been.

Thus, I walked away with trophy in hand.

For next year, we really need to work on getting our members pre-registered properly. Due to everything going on this year we did not follow up with the other Nissan forums as we had in years past so we did lose some pre-reg votes due to that as well. Of course, those who attended should remember who had the baddest club area with grille and chix so hopefully they will do the right thing

As far as clubs go, no other was even remotely close. Two, count 'em, TWO 20"x40" tents with banners galore, monster grill, the SICKEST cars there and beautiful womenz in skimpy NICO tops. How can another club even try and compete?

That sure messed things up, but still glad we won a trophy!

This year we had the thread at max.org forums and we all signed up under NICO too. I'll remember to let everyone know again next year! :D Stronger the showing the better!

See ya guys next year! Hopefully sooner

They apparently didn't have a forum, just told people who search there for sale ads to sign up. Pretty amazing that many did, to me.

We have another event coming up. NICOfest at Virginia International Raceway. Unfortunately, I won't be there but lots of the people from NOPI will be attending that as well.

Don't forget to say HI in the Maxima forum and check out maximaclub.org as we are accumulating as many how-to's as we can since one issue with the .org how-to section is after a while the links stop working. If you have any you wish to add that would be awesome as we don't want to steal others work

One of the main reasons I am involved with NICO is due to the comraderie of the member base. NICO is one of the few forums that really go out of their way to provide activities like this for their membership on a regular basis. While at NOPI we provided free food and drinks to NICO members throughout the event while also giving out free posters and adding a covered area to chit chat with other enthusialsts. There is simply no other online community that provides anything close to this that I am aware of.

The only "cost" items we have are window banners, shirts and calendars which help defray the costs associated with these events
