The electric window on the driver's door is acting erratically. When I use the Auto up feature the window rises a 1/4 of the way and then reverses the window downward. When I hold the raise switch full up the window raises normally.
Any ideas to solve this problem.
Thanks

You can try the reset procedure first, but you may need a motor.
On later cars you raise the window fully with the switch, don't use the auto position, then when its all the way up, hold the switch in the full up position for 10 seconds.
On earlier cars (I cant remember if 2007 is early) you have to take the door panel off and depress a black rubbery button on the window motor while doing the above.
Your owners manual may tell you and give a better account of the procedure too.
If resetting doesn't work, you need a motor.
Good luck

Thanks for the info. I was afraid it was the motor.

Most of the times when that happens is when the motor sees anything holding it back. Try some WD-40 in the window tracks . But the bad news is it might be the motor like ezb57e said

Avoid petroleum based products in a rubber window run, or on any rubber for that matter.
It can degrade the rubber and ruin it.
Silicone lubricants are the best for rubber.
