2007 Mechanism Error on 6 disk changer

I was wondering if there is an easy way to fix this problem. I get an error message that tells me to push eject button, but there any no Cd's in stereo. Any fixes that you know of?

I don't want to sound stupid, but have you tried to press and hold the eject button? Or perhaps press it six times so that it cycles through all the empty slots?

The only other thing I can recommend is to try holding the eject button down with the radio OFF, then while still holding down the eject button power on the radio.

I have tried to press and hold, but I will try with the power off and see if that works. I just didn't know if any one else has had this problem and how they fixed it. Thanks for the reply, hope it works.
