2007 Maxima suspension

Hey all! This is my first post here, and probably not my last, given my '07 Maxima and its legendary reliability. Anyway, on to the question! Whenever I turn left over a bump or incline-in other words, whenever my passenger side front suspension is expanded-I hear a nice knock from it. So I'm thinking it has to be something to do with that strut or spring. At least, I'm 90% sure my car has struts and not shocks. Correct me if I'm wrong. And since I'm all but certain the struts and springs haven't been replaced since the car was bought (I'm the second owner), I want to replace them. So the ultimate question is this! What struts and springs would be:

1. The absolute best I could get for my particular car

2. The middle of the line, not bad in any way, but not the best for my car

I don't need to know the bottom of the barrel option because I never go with it when it comes to what I drive. Now, having asked, I know there are probably countless other posts that ask the same question. But I need to know what would be the best for MY specific car. Well, there ya go. If I need to clarify on anything, just let me know and I'll do my best. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
