Right now the sunroof is open about 3 inches. Any push of the sunroof switch merely makes a clicking noise. I disconnected the battery, waited 10 minutes, reconnected. Did the reset for the auto up on the windows...no problems there, but the sunroof still refuses to move from it's current spot. Tried both directions and all I get is the same click. Any suggestions? Is there any way to manually close that SOB?!?

Sorry your experiencing this. Was there any steps listed in the FSM to troubleshoot the sunroof? I'm not sure of a way to get it to manually close.

It appears I have to drop at least the front of the headliner to access the sunroof motor, but I can't get any written confirmation of a manual close nut, etc. I have a motor in hand and an appt to have a local trim shop drop the headliner and swap the motors. I just can't believe that there isn't some manual override for it...

I suspected the manual gear to work the sunroof was hidden under that center overhead part with the dome lights. However, the FSM doesn't show any such thing. Sorry we couldn't find an easier solution for you.

Update: Got a used sunroof motor off eBay and had a local trim shop swap out the bad motor. Everything now works...tota lof $85 for the motor and $65 for labor and I am fixed up. Still smh that there isn't some type of manual override. Had to drive around with painters tape and a shower curtain liner for 9 days...that is NOT fun as the 95 degree heat plays havoc with theadhesive...lol.
