2007 M45 Sport with intelligent all wheel drive

Found an Infiniti M45 Sport...2007 with intelligent all wheel drive....161,700 miles.

What do I need to look out for? Is the engine and transmission stout? How about this intelligent all wheel drive system?

they want $3690. Seems like almost too good of a price........thanks

That's pretty cheap. The M45's were known for burning oil and some even had engines die...but the transmissions are stout.

Oh great....So pretty much like the Q45 I looked at earlier in the week. Apparently, the Q had oil burning issues also. Same V8? Can I tell from the exhaust, as in, is it smokey?

Trying hard to find a decent car under $5000. I love the looks of the M, and from the pics, it looks in better shape. How much for an engine rebuild for these beasts? Or an engine replacement?

Also, these Bose stereo systems any good? Haven't heard good things.

Never mind. Just found out the car has had 4 owners and one accident. I knew it was too good to be true.

Regarding Bose, I'd rather Infiniti use someone else in the future. Bose isn't what it was in the mid-90's in car audio IMO.

I'm still going to look at the car tomorrow. The price is too good just to do an automatic pass on it. Accident might have been minor. I will do my best to check for any frame damage. And for a smokey exhaust.....and anything else that might be expensive to replace. $3690 for one of these is just too good to ignore.

Any other comments would be appreciated.
