2007 M45 Navigation Auto Night Mode?

When driving at night I always have to manually switch my 2007 M45's navigation screen to night mode. Doesnt this have an auto feature that will auto select this based on the lighting for you?

You posted on the wrong section. But anyway I own a m45 and the only way I know to set it on auto is to set your headlights on Auto. So whenever your headlights come on your nav will get dim. I hope I made it clear enough.

yeh thats the only way to do it..when u put ur headlights on auto all the lights go auto..i think the only way u can do it is if u get ur computer programed maybe.

You turn on the display's night mode by pressing the red outlined button on your M's control panel:



As well, you can press it once again to turn the display mode back onto the brighter, day mode.

There are also several other settings available in the Settings > Display menu.

As noted above in a previous post-this switch will adjust your night mode/day mode anyway you want it.
