2007 M35x Tire Replacement Comparison

Coopers vs. Continental?
I bought a used 2007 M35x about 18 mos ago and the existing tires (Cooper CS4/245-45R18) are shot! They have been good tires. I live in snowy New England with rough roads. I do a lot of around town driving and some highway driving (busy mom) so I prefer smoother safe ride vs. sporty ride. Low road noise is important to me too. Don't want to deal with having two sets of tires (snow tires, etc.). Called many places to get advise and quotes on replacement tires. I'm down to:

1. replacing with the existing Cooper CS4
2. Continental PureContact

Anyone else have Coopers or Continentals that can give me your opinion?

if it were my money i would go with the continentals over the coopers, although you seem to have had good luck with the coopers and i am guessing that you were pleased with them'?? but again if it were my money i would go with the Continentals...you should also look into the Continental DWS that seems to be a very popular tire here on the forums!!

I think the M35X in New England is best fitted with Continental Extreme Contact DWS'. You really can't go wrong with these tires.
