2007 M35X FRONT GRILLE REMOVAL!!!

So I cannot remove this thing!? i took the tabs off the top, two screws from the reverse side on each side..

i think theres something with the tabs on the bottom but i cannot figure this out... and its 30 degrees in VA and im losing it!!

someone help?....... I wanna do my grille tonight and ill post pics of my car, ive been meaning to introduce myself on here.. :biggrin:

There's a couple tabs on the bottom of the grille (3-4 I think), for me It took a little while and it's kinda tight to get to em.

I wish I could take a pic of what I see... its really annoying.. Its annoying that I dont know how to release the tab- I bought the paint and everything but im slowly feeling defeated

Have you checked the manual?

CAUTION:
Apply protection tape around outer circumference of front grille (bumper fascia side).
REMOVAL
1. Fully open hood assembly.
2. Remove plastic clip from upper surface of the grille.
3. Remove plastic clip from front bumper upper side (convex part).
4. Pull front grille frontward. Disengage upper side plastic clip joint from back of front grille using pliers. (Figure
to illustration A.)
5. Pull front grille out toward vehicle front. (Figure to illustration B.)
NOTE:
Plastic clips of front grille lower are engaged strongly. Strong power is necessary to disengage them. (When it
is not easy to disengage them, disengage the joint of lower side clip using a screwdriver while pulling the front
grille frontward.)

Thanks for replying and the info.. that plastic peice it says to disengage with pliers is ridiculously tought to get to. I think i squeeze the plastic clip to 'disengage'??

afraid to break it.. but f it.. ive been fighting this clip all day. I want to paint this thing already. I'll be sure to post pics. Hoping it comes out good!!

Lmfao!!! :rotflmao I was afraid to break it myself... A friend and member here, Tyson and I met up and he just pulled that thing out hard didn't break or anything!! I tried it and got!! :dblthumb: good luck!!
