GARDENA, Calif. (June 21, 2006) – Infiniti today announced pricing on the award-winning 2007 M luxury performance sedan, which goes on sale June 21, 2006 at Infiniti retailers nationwide. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the 2007 M, which features realigned option packages and higher equipment levels, has been increased by $853, or 1.96 percent, weighted among all trim levels from the 2006 model.

The technologically advanced M sedan features a choice of engines and, with the M35, a choice of rear- or all-wheel drive. The starting MSRP for the M35 is $41,450; M35 Sport is $44,250; M35x AWD is $44,550; M45 is $49,100; and M45 Sport is $50,550.

The 2007 M models include an increased level of standard features, including a standard 10-way power front passenger seat and standard climate controlled seats on M45, M35x and M35 Sport (available on M35). On models excluding the base M35, the 2006 Journey package content has become standard equipment, climate controlled front seats, HomeLink® Universal Transceiver, front pre-crash seatbelts and compass.

Additionally, the pricing of the optional Technology Package has been reduced by $1,250. This package includes the Infiniti Navigation System, RearView Monitor, and Bose 2-Channel Premium Audio System.

A new option package for 2007 is the Advanced Technology Package, which includes a Bose Studio Surround™ sound system with digital 5.1-channel decoding and 14 speakers, choice of XM® or Sirius™ satellite radio, DVD-Video/DVD-Audio drive mounted in the center console and Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system.

Also available is a new 18-inch wheel design with a diamond cut finish (available on non-Sport models only) and various other packages and options, including Premium Package with XM® or Sirius™ satellite radio, Mobile Entertainment System and Rosewood Interior Trim.

The Infiniti M35 and all-wheel drive M35x feature the 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine producing 275 horsepower. The M45 features the 325 horsepower 4.5-liter DOHC V8. Both the M35 V6 and M45 V8 are paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission with short-throw performance shifter, manual shift mode and Rev Matching.
