2007 M35 Upgrades??

I just purchased the 2007 M35 with the technology package and i was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the software running on the console? Also is it possible to use other DVD navigation software instead of the factory Infiniti software? Has anyone been able to stream audio from an iphone 4s via bluetooth?

Are you talking about map data I dont think you can do that but I could be wrong

I purchased the 2010-2011 Navteq DVD to upgrade the map data. I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade the other software running on the head unit also.

I don't think so - I'm pretty sure in 08 or 09 they came out with an update - system and maps, and the only updates since are map updates. If you were able to update the maps with the 10-11 DVD then I believe you're already at the latest system level.

Can anyone confirm?

Just wondering if i could upgrade software to allow blutooth audio streaming, or show album art work from my iphone while playing music from isimple device, or improve the detail of the gps maps similar to google maps, etc.....

I think that is a no alla round. I just have a copy of the 10-11 map dvd that improves the GPS functions but graphics are the same. There is no main OS upgrades to add features,graphics, etc to the main HU. I wish we could at least change backgrounds or cut to a screen saver.

I have isimple and it shows up as RDS text in the radio mode it is ok but nothign great and only works for the music player not pandora. With Isimple you can bluetooth to the isimple with an adapter but why? When you have the plug right there and you would want to keep it charged anyway and then you lose bluetooth to the car phone system.

Easy update is to purchase a 2008 or 09 M35.
