I had a front end wheel alignment a few weeks ago and the shop also did a tire rotation. The alignment was fixed and the car drives much better now but I noticed that only 1 of my tire pressure sensors are giving a reading on the screen display in the "info" tab. I don't have any lights on the dash but I suspect the shop broke the other 3 sensors that don't work. I called and asked if their was something I could do and I was told to "tickle" the sensors by emptying and then filling the tires a bit but that didn't work. I was also told it would just take a couple hundred miles but I have already put 1,000 miles on the dash since the maintenance and nothing has happened...Is there any way to reset the sensors?

Welcome to the forum.

Considering that alignment and rotation doesn't involve removing the tire from the wheel, it's hard to see how they could have broken them or damaged them...are these the original sensors? It might just be a coincidence...

What might be worth doing is going to a shop (either dealer or elsewhere) that can program the sensors and see if they are even detected by the tool. If I recall the Infiniti dealer I use uses the CONSULT device to basically sync up to the sensors and see if they can be programmed to the car or not.

Typically you don't need to reprogram them, but I had purchased new OEM sensors from eBay for another set of wheels so I had to have it done.

I do know that tire shops that replace TPMS sensors have the tool to set/reset them. I would check your local tire shop (Discount Tire, America's tire, etc....) and ask them to do a reading on your sensors. The sensor reader was wireless so he just pointed his reader at the new TPMS sensor and set it up. I also got new TPMS sensors from Amazon and had them installed recently. Isn't too hard for them to do that. Not sure if they are going to charge you for the service so I'd call to find out first.

Most tire shops have a tool that can read if the TPMS are transmitting info to the car's receiver. I once had a non-dealer do an alignment and they confirmed each sensor was transmitting. I had to leave on a road trip the next day and planned to go to the dealer when I got back from my trip.
Unbelievably, the car started reading the sensors after about 300 miles on the motorway. The dealer told me that after an alignment, the car should re-capture the sensors after a few miles of continuous driving, but it should NEVER take that many miles.
Well, it bloody DID! and they have worked fine ever since after each alignment since that day.

You may need to have the tire store tell the car's computer to see the tire sensors again. Just reading the sensor may not work.

I had that problem with my 2009 and resolved it after 2 trips and calling the tire sensor mfg tech service.
