I would just search google maps for your location for 'car wash' and read reviews/visit websites. I don't think we have any members (who post regularly) who are from Queens. We have a few from NJ though. Maybe they know.

I actually know a really good detailer in queens, I'm getting my car detailed by him on Sunday. It's a 2 day process paint correction. He's probably the best in NYC,a lot of credibility. Google.. big A detailing. You will see detailed work on the Internet. Very good with Infiniti's and thats important due to the hard clear coat on our cars.

I forgot about Big A!

He used to detail for people on NYCMaximas.org and probably Maxima.org, G35NYC.com, etc.

Forgot about him.

Why don't you go to www.autopia.org and search for a pro detailer in your area.

What did you get done specifically ? And what did he charge you if you don't mind me asking ? I'm in Brooklyn and plan to go to him around may or so. I called him and he told me anywhere from 250-600 depending on what the condition of the car is. I'm curious to see what the results look like

I'm sorry, you guys are crazy. $250-$600!?!?!? $370!?!?!? The car has to look like total s*** beforehand for me to be willing to pay that much for detailing! A good total detail doesn't need to pass $175, $125 on average. And that is total in and out and buffing out blemishes. I would like to see what these cars looked like before. This guy sounds like a tinter in the Bronx named Lorenzo; he knows he has a name for himself and charges outrageous prices for his work...all be it good, but nothing out of this world spectacular. Just my opinion. I've seen work JUST as good for half that. But, your car does look nice, so I'm happy for you.

Tdot, I purchased my car used. The paint looked like crap! the only thing that was really pulling me back from buying the M. Around where I live, the alternative detailers are all roughly around the same price. Unless, you want to pursue the local car wash guys that do horrible, maybe even worst to your car. Big A, I actually know him going back from high school. He is very detailed with his work and the results are great. Prior to this, he's worked for a body shop for 13 years. I rather give him the business rather some guy thats gonna give me a spray detail behind my back and charge me 100-200 bucks. Its happen to a bunch of people i know, one of my friends even flipped out stating his car looked exactly the same when bought in. He ended up driving off without paying them. :rotfl
