2007 M35...but 2005/2006 Navigation Disk?

I took delivery of my 2007 M35X end of July and noticed then that the Navigation Disk is a 2005/2006 version. When the dealer rep called for my 2 week post delivery check I asked and was told that service could take care of this when I brought the car in. Had my 3500 mile service a few weeks ago and service said they couldn't help....talk to sales. Sales now says "this is handled by a third party company, not Infiniti" so they can't help. Doesn't seem right.....

Anyone with experience on how to get Infiniti to address this?

I have had navagation with both Audi and now Infiniti. The actual software (the disk) is a 3rd party product. I'm sure if you look through the maintenance agreement it will mention that updates are not part of the warranty.

The 2007 disk was issued in November. You would have a case if you purchased your car after the new disk was issued. This is the link to the company and so you can order the new disk:

You can order the disk through the parts deptment. Should be less than 200.00 for the disk.

how do you find out what version disk you have?

Pop it out of the DVD player in the glove compartment and check the version number of the disk, 7.1 or 7.2.

There might also be a ID option available - check the manual.

Look on Ebay for the latest disk. I purchased mine (ver 7.3) for $129.00 total free shipping. You just have to watch out for the prices, they can vary!
