2007 M35 AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting System)

Is the AFS speed sensitive? I have a feeling mine may not be working. When my car is stopped (but in gear), I can see the light turn when I rotate the wheels right, but nothing happens when I rotate it to the left. Does anyone get the same thing?

I'd recommend reading the owner's manual - it explains the differences between right and left turns and what speed is needed to make it work.

I believe this is by design as to not blind oncoming drivers.

that makes perfect sense. I'll take a look at the owner's manual too--I've never been one to do much reading, especially when it comes to instructions.
