I was looking to get a set of rims for my Black Infiniti M35x.

Would 20's mess up the ride? - Or should I go with 19's?

Also, the best place I found was Wheelfire - they seem to have a good tire+wheel package.

Would love to hear some feedback on suggestions or rim suggestions that would go well with the car.

Thanks! :ohno:

Most M owner go with 20's but a few have been going with 22's.

Because your M is an X I would tell you to get all 4 wheels & tires the same size.

I would also tell you to go to local wheels shops to see wheels in person before buying, some times they look different in person.

You should also get ready to lower your M, get rid of some of that gap. :yesnod

Hey !
Thanks for the help!
What suspension/springs do you recommend to lower the car?
Any good places to get them?
I am still having a hard time deciding on what would look good. I saw a lot of posts in the rims section but I want to avoid it looking ricer-ish and want that classy look with the rims.

Because your car is so high and it has bigger gaps I would tell you S-Tech or Eibach's springs.

As for wheels you have to keep looking until you see something you like, not what I or others like. It's your cash and your taste.

Dont mean to hijack ya thread but where would one go to get these springs put on? Couldnt I get these at a shop and put them on in one place? I want some 22" rims but I dont want all that gap. I want to have it lowered so the rims look a lil bigger w/out making look sporty just classy

Hey Thanks for the link reference 06M4.5 !

Also, I was wondering if anyone knows how to improve fuel economy on this car?

I was thinking of getting those performance chips - any help?

There is no real way to increase MPG's on this car without driving better, inflating tires properly, and possibly getting a tune from UpRev or one of it's dealers.

Those chips/gizmos on EBay are CRAP.

That's about right. I usually run mine around 37psi after they have been driven.

That is a good minimum place to keep it at. :yesnod

My own preference is a bit higher (at 35 to 36 psi) because then I don't need to check for a couple of weeks.

Definitely make sure that it is a cold measurement ... in the garage, in the morning, before you even let the sun warm the tire.

I have the Stillen catback system, and I LOVE IT !!!! It's a little deeper growl than the stock pipes without being too loud or ricey.

I also have this car and have dropped it with the Espilir springs from Jason Burttman. Love the ride and the drop. Check them out. I posted some pics. I think the name of it was " one year later" or something like that

The system was about 950 or so. Then Installation.
I think cars with rims look better when dropped. But also too, I dunno if they will actually sit flush. They will probably look similar just bigger. If you drop it, it looks more flush like that to me.

It may be but you have to hear in person. I drive it almost every day. It's not too loud, but it does sound different to me

I am no "mod officionado" by any means. I only know what I know. I have the Espilir springs and they ride great. The feel stock but you can tell there is a noticeable drop. I believe then they settle they are about 1.25-1.5"/ I'm ssure that others on here would have more input than I have. But I know that I love my springs and wouldn't switch them for any other. They are pricey though.
