Hello all:The dealerships are starting to order 2007 M35s. I am going to custom order one (which I need to do by tomorrow, 4/7), but was wondering if anyone has any information about the option packages for the 2007 model year. One dealership told me that the 2007 Journey Package will not include the backup camera (which has been included in the 2006 Journey Package), and that the backup camera will only be included with the Tech Packages.

Any information about these and all of the option packages would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Can't help you on options, but I understod that the base model was going to be an M37 (larger engine).

I confirmed this info - the Journey pkg. for 2007 has just the Xenon adaptive leveling lights and Climate control front seats - the Bose 8 speaker audio and backup camera that were in the '06 Journey package have been moved into the '07 Technology package, and it also includes the Nav system. And getting the '07 Tech package requires the Journey package on the M35.

I've also read that about the larger engine, 37 and 47, which is a little annoying because I want to get the car now and if in a few months a larger engine comes out, I know I'll be pissed.

Nissan/Infiniti could not possibly be stupid enough to offer the larger engine only in the G35 and keep the current engine in the M35. It would completely undermine the M series.

Now it's likely that they don't want to broadcast that there is a new stronger engine coming in a couple of months because that would cause everyone to wait and how would they move the last M35's?

Of course, it is possible that they will keep the same engine.....but in that case, you should have bought the 2007 G35 not the 2006 or 2007 M35....and you will be equally angry.

Welcome to NICO, ghstudio!

I suspect that the engine change to the other models will happen with time. FWIW, I have not seen any formal announcements per se on a new 3.7 liter engine (although I may be wrong!), so I will take a wait-and-see attitude for now!
