Anyone experience a noisy downshift when braking in a steep downhill? My G35x sounded like a train wreck the other day. I haven't found a Recall Notice or TSB on this but will appreciate any info

its a common thing for our cars, even car and driver mentioned it. but its all depending on your learned ecu driving style. if you drive your car hard or on the highway it will feel and drive different when you are on a slow city road for example your shift points etc. thats why i drive 95%++ of the time in M mode, i can accelerate or up shift whenever i want to not have the computer be all confused in what the car is doing. hope that helps a little.
