Just hit my 3K mile mark, I tend to think that an oil change is an oil change, should I take it to my Infiniti Dealer anyways?
Let me know your opinions out there...

I have a 2006 6sp Manual Sedan. I have been changing the oil myself every three thousand miles. I buy the oil filters at the Infinity dealer and save the receipts. I have been getting the oil on sale at Pep boys.Don't try to drive the car up on ramps. Buy a good quality 3 ton hydraulic jack & place under the car in the correct spot. (See owners manual for jacking instructions) Do not use the jack that came with the car. After you begin jacking up one side place the ramp under the front wheel. Then jack the other side placing the ramp under the other front wheel. There are about 15 10mm bolts holding the fiberboard cover that blocks access to the oil filter. Remove those bolts along with the plastic clip. My last oil change was in January when the temp in NJ hit 70 degrees. Good luck

the infinity dealer i use charges 29.00 to 39.00 depending if they have a coupon in there mailers. well worth having them do it. just the filter will run you that. and they wash the outside and vacume the interior while i wait. i will call when i am on my way to give them the heads up and they ready to get to when i drive in. i love the perks of buying a new car!
