2007 g35x "Black BOX"

I posted a question about my g35x stalling. It got me thinking about he black box in every new G i was reading my manual and it did state that it would record speeds RPM and temperatures etc.............. on the cars computer for warranty purposes has anyone had any experience with the dealer and the black box. the reason i ask is because there has been a couple of times i have gotten pretty hard on my G.

One of my friends had a 2005 mustang GT and the checked his black box and found when he was and wasn't using the correct octain rating what the outside and engine temps were and the rpm and speeds he was running the car at and they all but tried to void his power train warranty on his car

I have gotten hard too with no problem. It shouldn't be a problem. I would try to reset it by disconect the battery.

I do believe Infiniti records everything! my salesperson told me this after considerable questioning......
