I live in SoCal, so snow must be sought or comes once every 10 or so years.

With that being said. The general opinion that I've heard on the boards it that careful driving with snow tires makes the G35 quite manageable. Smaller rims were also a suggestion. 17" being the preferred diameter.

Hope that helps.

Live in Tampa FLA... and last time we had snow... well I wasn't even thought about!

For the most part I think most say that it is managable. I drove my 6MT G35 in some snow in TN over Christmans and Didn't have any problems. I had 19's with the ****y Potenz's Could have been better but 2nd gear starts are most of the time a must!

Drive carefully in bad weather, leave plenty of space between you and cars around you, downshift & try to avoid using brakes on snow and ice.

Here is my post on driving in bad weather.Keep a close eye on your tires & don't try to squeeze the last mile out of them in winter.

I just sold my 2006 G35 coupe sport 6MT, but I live in Cincinnati oh and put a set of 17" Konig Incident Rims with Bridgestone Blizzaks LM-22 tires and they were awesome.

The guy who bought my car did not need the rims and tires. If you are interested in them, let me know. I only used them one year and they only have 3000 miles on them. I still have the receipt for them. I am asking $900 for them and you pay the shipping.
