Hi, I am new to this forum. I stumbled upon it while looking at reviews on the new 2007 G35 Sedan. Looks like a great forum!

I am anxiously awaiting my new G35 Sedan, the dealer said it is due to arrive 11-22-06 and it can't come soon enough. The color is Platinum Graphite exterior with Graphite interior. It is a sport model with a premium package. I will try to post pictures as soon as it arrives!

Does anyone else own the 07 sedan? if so, how do you like it? even though I probably know the answer already!

We are still patiently waiting for our car to come in. For some reason, there aren't that many Graphite interiors on the lots in Arizona. Probably because they will get hot in the summerand there isn't as much of a demand for them here . We want graphite interior so we will wait. The car should be in any day, I will post pictures as soon as we get it! Good things come to those that wait, right?

IF Buying used make sure that you have legal documentation for all each and every one of required oil changes [every 6 months and 7499 miles] as Nissan is following the letter of the warranty on engine replacements.

Skip an oil change or improper documentation from a oil change facility and down the road you might be out of luck.

Since 1 out of 1000 or more are burning oil [rings/bad breakin] you shouldn't gamble...............pass on those without written documentation as those that have been turn down by Nissan are dumping the cars to used car lots/ unsuspecting public.

Always check the dealer computer history prior to buying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watch out for mods and changed cats and general distruction of emission systems.

Individuals and dealers can be sued to force return to oem as built if you catch it early.

Thanks for the informative information about buying used but we are buying new. The dealership that we are working with is having to do a dealer swap with another dealer when this particular car comes in. We could have had our car by now but we want the graphite interior and there doesn't seem to be many in the Arizona area. Still waiting, hopefully the car comes in this week!

i'm new to this forum as well. i'm looking for g35 clubs in the bay area. i recently bought the 07' g35s 6MT and i also kept my 95 g20. i really broke the car in this weekend. the first thing that sticks out is of course the design of the car. however the interior is really cozy yet still sporty. i've never been in a sedan that i've really felt comfortable in. i'm a tall guy as well (6'2").

the drive of the car is smooth and powerful. with the 6MT the short throw shifter is nice but takes a bit of getting use too. it was a bit jerky for me the first couple of days but i smooth as silk with shifting now.

i drove highway 1 on the san francisco coast. lots of turns, hills, porsches, trees, and bmw's... the drive was fun... really fun. ample power mixed with a kickass turn radius makes me happy

yeah lowballin' is highly recommended.

my only problem with negotiating was that i wanted the manual transmission. not many with manual transmission here in the bay. you can also order which was my other option but they had what i wanted at infiniti of marin.

it was a bit of a drive, but well worth it because i got really good service from the team over there. the majority of my negotiating was conducted over the phone and email.

yeah you gotta keep that 240sx... those are the ****.

I've never seen a used car on a dealer lot that had any documentation. This suggests that document from before you bought the car generally isn't required. Nissan and/or a lot of selling dealers are going to end up in court if Nissan takes a hard line on this. I include the selling dealers because when they sell cars with the remaining factory warranty they often say on the used car sticker "balance of manufacturer's warranty" or something like that, such that a valid manufacturer's warranty is part of the deal. If the dealer voided this warranty by tossing maintenance records...
