OK

So I went and looked at a used 2007 G35 sitting on a used car lot in my town just to get another look at the car. This one obviously didnt have the premium package. The interior quality was way below the standards that I had set for cars that I drive. I still like the drive of the car, but the interior makes me wonder about purchasing one. The seats feel rubbery not to the touch but to the feel of the foam padding. Either go with something stiffer or softer but just less rubbery would help. I had an Acura TL until last week when it was totalled and I have a Lexus Lx470 SUV. Both of which have much nicer interiors. I can't remember about the premium and sport packages if the interior was any different or not. I test drove a G35 at a dealership and it had the sport package and prem package, but the salesman was yapping the whole time. To be honest I couldn't pay much attention to the car with all of his yapping. This time I looked at one through and through and it just felt like an inferior car than something you expect from a luxury brand. Anyone who owns a G that could give some input would be greatly appreciated. I am seriously reconsidering the 3 series or another Acura now.

Again the car drives great. What about the M35 is it the same way?

Thanks!!

if the g35's interior isnt 'nice' enough for you, maybe you should just get a Rolls Royce

It's nice!! It's just that I love the car and that is the only flaw if it has one. And I just wanted it all to be perfect in my mind I guess, and when I found a flaw it was like a little boy losing his favorite toy so to speak!! Although it is a nice interior I feel like in its price category that was its only true flaw.

Have you had a look at the G35 with the wood trim instead of the washa trim? In my view it (the wood) makes the interior look more upscale. The M35 definitely has a more upscale interior, but again the wood trim in that one looks better, ie. the M35 sport has the metal trim, which in my view does not look as nice.

From a practicality and easy of use perspective though, the G35 is way better than the 3 series, and slightly better than the Acura TL in my view.

Although the M35/45 have a very nice interior, the G35 has always lacked. If there's something I don't like about my 06, it's definitely the interior. I just purchased my car 3 months ago and I have always been a Bimmer driver. So I shopped the 3 series hard. For the money, you can't touch a BMW with the same options and power.

To get the same power, you have to buy a 335. The 335 is a great car but for the money I went for the g35. I can live with the interior as every time I gun it, it puts a smile on my face.

I've seen several posts here where folks have traded in their TL for a G due to problems. Might want to search

Here are my 2 cents:You cant compare Lexus interioir to Infiniti. In my opinion Lexus is WAY too luxurous and nicer inside then infiniti. I had on 07 G35 sport before it was stolen last wekk, but the seats in the sport model are much harder then on a regular all wheel drive package. I've had the car fgor over 5 months and overall, i think it was a pretty good interioir. the ride is nice and smooth, you dont hear any vibrations from the doors, or any other panels, so over all its good.
