Hi,

I have recently imported a 2007 Infiniti G35-S Sedan from Japan and it has come with 225/55R18 Front and 245/45R18 Rear tyres. I was wondering if anybody knows if this is the stock standard? I was under the impression that the front tyres should be 225/50R18 instead. Is there a large difference in terms of handling and performance?

Also are Michelin or Bridgestone tyres better for the car in your opinion?

Thanks.

I can't comment on tire sizing on a car which originated in Japan.

As for type of tire, Both make good tires as do several others. It depends on your usage. Check out Tire Rack for really complete information on many tires as well as comparisons between brands/models. It's a US site, but the info will be something you can use.
