I just dropped off my 94Q to my local Infiniti dealership to replace the driver's side lock assembly and actuator. I was expecting either an 05 or 06 G35 loaner (5-6 sitting cars sitting outside) but the tech writer told me to wait (with a smile) and said " Mr. Andres I have a car for you in the back." Behold a spanking brand new'07 G35 with only 14 miles on it.

What a beautiful car. The interior is nicely done and control buttons are nicely integrated and power delivery is awesome. The good thing is I'll be able to drive this car for at least 2 days.

Hanging out with both service and parts guys pays dividend.

I got a G35x as a loaner last year. I beat the tar out of it.. but, it was already heavily used.

Do a write-up for the loaner!!!

I had a G35 loaner last year and thought the engine sounded like a sewing machine compared to my G50. It was very torquie with loads of off the line pull. Every stop sign became a christmas tree

Drove it two days---I did not miss it one little bit when I brought it back.

It had a cheap feel to it compared to the G50.

I took my Q to the Infiniti body shop and I got an '07 Altima 2.5s as a loaner. They don't give Infiniti loaners up here. Even the shuttle car is not an Infiniti. The G sure does look great though, when looking at it in the showroom.

I got an FX-45 with 7 miles on it last time. I played with the navigation system. I wish I didn't have to work, it would have been fun to just tool around in it all day.

I agree with Peter on the earlier models. I hope Infiniti improved the later ones.

But, for the relatively same price of a loaded Maxima, the G35 with RWD, is much more fun to drive.

If this ever happens, I'll take the day off, I really want to "test out" and FX, as I see one of those in the future (5 years).

Ive driven an FX35, a 03 G35 and 07 G35.... The FX was pretty cool, i could drive one of those things daily... The new G35 is like a step down from the M, whereas the old G35 was like a step up from an altima.
