2007 g35 coupe trunk problem

My trunk will only open via the keyfob...will not open using the trunk button on the panel...any ideas?

The switch may be off, yes. Or you could have a defective/disconnected switch.

Yep, that sounds like a good answer.

I don't have a G35 so I don't know if there's a valet switch in there and I'm not about to search for it. If there is, it may be set so that the trunk does not open from the interior button. If there is, it might also just be f*** up.
