2007 G35, All My gauges stopped working, and AC..

None of my gauges are working, and the AC doesnt work. The miles don't roll over either. Also to turn off the car, I have to hold down the button for 5 seconds. the lights that come up on the dash are, SLIP, VDC Off, and Brake are displayed. Any Ideas?!

Check the fuse box! Pray that is just a blown fuse!!!

Even if its a blown fuse I'd still take it to the stealership. Something had to cause it to blow.

The lights still light up - but nothing is functioning.I didnt see any blown fuses when I checked. Which should I re-check in particular?

Are there fuse boxes other than the one in the driver's kick panel and under the hood by the battery?

It seems that I can only rev while in neutral. Therefore when it is in gear I can only drive at idle speed.What is up with that?

I'm no expert, but it sounds like it's in 'limp mode', where if the ECU (engine control unit) fails or has a problem, it switches into limp home mode. I had this happen years ago with my 89 Taurus SHO, and the ECU had to be replaced, but being a Ford, the replacement had to be replaced 2 more times in the next 6 months. Unfortunately, if you've checked/double-checked the fuses, you'll probably have to take it to the stealership, unless someone else on the forum has something else to check first.

Since you have a 2007 why not just call the service department & tell them to drive over to you with a loaner and return your vehicle it when its fixed?

Wow....this should never happen on a new car! Take it to the dealership for sure. You should have free towing.

ok well this might sound crazy, but the exact same thing happened to me, only i was driving 70mph down a highway and all the guages went out, brake light and vdc light go on, lost power steering, the whole bit. what happened was my car threw the belt that goes to the alternator, check that out maybe?

Guess you never owned a Dodge.

Everything at Tempe Dodge costs more then the quote given when you drop off the car.

They break other things when they fix the problem you took your car in to have repaired.

The Arizona Dodge dealerships will void you warranty for something as simple as oh a K&N filter.

With less then 5000 miles on my Ram had Tempe Dodge void my warranty and refuse to do a front wheel alignment because I swapped out the coil springs for 2" short ones.

I took the truck to Avondale Dodge and they were able to align it no problem. But they broke the tow/haul button and refused to fix it

There is a reason Dodge Chrysler is having money problem and it comes down to customer service.

right after they gave me a POS chevy malibu, i stayed in the parking lot thinking of what i should do, i saw the service guy go to my car, even though i told him it wouldnt start, he kept trying to start it (the car turns over but then shuts off), he repeatedly started it and floored it at the same time, making all kinds of smoke come out the back. i was like, WTF i don't even treat my car near that bad, and if anyone was going to be that harsh to my car, it should be me! after i saw that i ran back out to him to let him know i told him it wouldnt start. he was like 'yeah but i got it started for a few seconds' i was like i know you idiot you were flooring it.

but other than that, they called and said they fixed it so it stays on but everything else is screwy still and they told me to come back tomorrow to get an Infiniti rental car (i have no idea why they gave me this chevy, its like the worst car ever made).

the thing that sucks is they said it wont be near ready until later next week, but i am home in dallas for the weekend and have to go back to college sunday

i would check that but they have the car now... this is going to suck
