The VQ35HR intakes are going to be more expensive than the previous versions as it is is actually a kit that includes two complete intakes. The previous sedan and current G35 coupe only need one.

As far as which one is better? Who knows. I'm sure someone will start posting dyno results soon enough.

Hi.No clip, but I had the Stillen on my '03, & I definitely like the sound way better on the Fujita. It does look pretty slick too...

yea but you had a 2003..its not the same.. i think fujita and stillen sound the same on 2007 g sedan. 2 intake are louder!!! but then ...stillen has a cover on its intakes and fujita doesnt...does that make fujita louder? maybe..or maybe not!!!! what do you guys think?

True the '03 had only one intakeIt makes sense that no cover = more noise....and it does sound goodFujita pipe/fasteners are top rate & look cool....have you checked out their website (Fujita) it shows the intakes installed w/ the Dyno numbers posted too?

Haven't had a chance to listen yet....on a work computer. My initial guess would be that since the Fujita is running the air through aluminum vs. plastics, and has no cover, I think it'll "scream" a bit more.

She screams all right, but not annoyingly. Sounds just like the factory intake until 3k RPM's then she growls like a pi$$ed off panther... very mean sound, but not ricer... aggressive tone that let's you know it means business.

I meant it was a "good" scream...Have you or do you know anyone that's had experience with the U/R Racing Pulley's?Had them on my '03 G Sedan but they always squeaked. Great addt'l torque & better off the line, but don't want to go through that d@#%$ed squaking again?

Never had any experience with the pulley's... Check out the modification database on this thread... I've only made a few mods, but I'm sure you'll find someone in this thread who has had experience with them... great group of guys on this thread who are always willing to help out...

Just the Fujita Intake and the rear spoiler (which I'm working on install... kinda nervous to drill holes into my beuty) I'm also ordering the Stillen Generation 2 Catback Exhaust when I can find a smokin deal on it... just tinkering... nothing major, I just LOVE my G

I saw some new brake calipers on the G37 that I would love to have on my G35, but they haven't been released yet... check out the G37 thread, that's a hot car!

Had the Stillen Gen 1 catback on my '03. If I did it again, the 2nd gen would probably be a lot easier on the ear.The G is a great machine!! The stereo is a killer.I'm gonna still check into the Pulley's, wary though I am of them based on the last G. I've had them on other cars w/out problems though?Where & which exhaust(s) are you looking at?

If you can get this for $285...buy it now!I paid $499 for the intake installed at the dealership. A bit much, but I'm not a hands-on guy except once i "push" the key start.

most intake aren't worth the money. especially the shortram intake... the stock intake were design to take in "cold air" and stay pretty much clean as long as possible.

the aftermarket intake, yes, they look nice but all they do is take in "hot engine air". how good is that? and if you drive a G, you will know how hot it gets in there.

the "cold air intake" available for the G get the cold air, but gets dirty pretty damn quick. not only that, when it rains, you have to take it out.. what a freaking hassle.

a simple thing to do is just replace the stock filter with the high flow K&N filter.

yea but when you drive..fresh air is always coming in...so you dont really get hot air..only if you are idling. thats why dynos on intake makes no sense!!!!!you need to drive the car so the intake gets fresh air, thats why an intake is louder in motion than reving at a stand still..there should be a testing on intakes while in motion thats when we can find real HP gains on an intake

thats why infiniti said the dual intake on the new g35 sedan gets 3 HP at 60 mph.....306HP SAE but 60MPH ....309HP at the crank!!! there is no way of finding this out on a dyno at a stand still with no fresh air coming in!!!! do you guys get my point....

you've got your point. I just got off from the phone couple of minutes ago. Ordered a stillen intake for my G. Since I live in Canada I have to wait 7-10 days on the shipping. Oh well.

quick question..i was plannin on getting a cold air intake to replace my stock intake on my car because of the performance boost it gives your car..den someone discouraged me from gettin an intake cuz wen u turbo yer car..u dont need an air intake...does anyone know if thats true or was he talking about his car. everything on my car is stock..the first 2 mods im doin 4 sure are the crank pulley and the stillen exhaust since most of you recommended the stillen...so now should # 3 be an intake? srry but im a newb with a lot of questions..trust me im reading all the threads..but i cant find some of the answers for my questions?
