I have the wiring harnesses from my 2003 350Z (for my Alpine head unit) and am now installing it in my 2007 Frontier. Crutchfield says that the harnesses should be compatible but they are not. I could see that the wires on the harness wernt quite matching with the wires of the trucks harnesses. It seems there are 3 wires that are different. Anybody run into this problem???

Head on down to your local circuit ****ty or best buy and pick up a metra head unit wiring harness for your vehicle...then take the harness from your alpine head unit and splice the two harnesses together.

This seems to correct the issue?

Do the plugs fit? The wire colors are going to be different...sorry I read the post wrong at first.

I solved this problem. I installed my Alpine head unit and amp thus not needing the smaller wiring harness. I did use the larger harness for power and ground. Running the speaker wires off of the amp to the Polks I installed was all I needed. I did speak again with Crutchfield and told them that the wiring harnesses are different for the '07 Frontier which they were not aware of. The dude said he was going to notify their engineering department about the issue.
